A few years back, JL lost his grandmother to Chronic Polycystic Kidney Disease. He would later say, "I didn't know it was hereditary until I found out that I have it." Now, as a result of his disease and treatment, JL's perfect set of teeth have started to decay and many have been removed. JL went on to say, "Not only is it not good for my health but I am completely embarrassed. If having kidney disease wasn't bad enough I barely have any teeth and don't want to be around others, which makes it hard because my kids are involved in so many activities." JL applied for and received a grant from the NH Dental Program which pays for a substantial amount for these dental procedures and dentures IF you can come up with the copay of $900. Through your generosity, Annie's Angels was able to help JL.

JL is just one of the many Annie's Angels assisted in January. As you can see by the numbers in our stats, Annie’s Angels Memorial Fund is facing a crisis.  Requests for help are far exceeding our current abilities to meet the needs. Donations have not kept pace with distributions to needy NH families like JL who are facing life-threatening disease, illness, or disability.  For the first time in our 17-year history, we will be forced to stop taking applications until May, when our Heavenly Ball is held.  Our cash flow does not allow for these unsustainable operations.  2023 was a particularly hard year and is leaving our cupboards bare. Help us continue to help families like JL's and families like YOURS.

Would you be willing to use your connections to help us? Send emails, post to social media, share our situation with others who may be able and willing to help. OR Be Our Angel Valentine! Visit our Angel Valentine's Day Campaign to make your tax deductible donation or text AngelValentine to 71777. We've raised nearly $3,000 of our $25,000 goal.
